DBU owns over 160,000 books and over 8,000 media items, such as CDs, DVDs, tapes, and kits. That's not counting our vast collection of electronic resources!

This guide is designed to help you learn to use WorldCat Discovery, the online library catalog at DBU.  Like most library catalogs, WorldCat Discovery will help you locate the books and other items owned by the library, so you can check them out. 

But that's not all you can do!  WorldCat Discovery can connect you directly to online journal articles and eBooks. And if DBU doesn't have what you need, you can expand your search to discover items in other libraries from all over the world. 

You can set up a personal library account, and then use it to see what you've got checked out and when it's due, find out if you have any fines, and place holds on items you want to get later.
